There will be a public meeting at the Prospect Road Community Centre on Wednesday, Jan 18 at 7:00pm to talk about the future of transit service in the community.

Unused tickets can be exchanged for a refund at the PRCC front desk.

About the Transit Pilot:

In 2010, the Resource Opportunities Centre applied for and secured funding from the Province’s NSTRIP program to operate a pilot transit service in the Prospect Road area.

An operating plan was developed by a volunteer committee based on results from an open house session and an online user needs survey. A contract was then negotiated with Need-A-Lift to operate the service. We’re hoping the system we’ve designed meets the needs of the community while keeping costs down. We’d love to hear your ideas.
